Duval County Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts

Ronnie Fussell - Assumed Office 2013

Showcase web has been decommissioned - Effective December 17, 2012

On November 5th, 2012, we began a soft launch of our new online records website, the Clerk Online Resource ePortal (CORE) to attorneys. This website provides the case search & inquiry capabilities which have been in use by the judiciary for over a year, and is the system used for in-court paperless court records.

  • Developed in-house by the Clerk of Courts staff, CORE will allow us to more quickly make improvements and respond to the changing needs of our users.
  • Support for mobile devices is being phased in, such as tablet computers, smart phones, etc.
  • The new system provides the Clerk with more granular security capabilities. This allows us to provide you with greater access to the cases with which you work, while simultaneously safeguarding confidential and protected records.
  • CORE will serve as the foundation for new electronic services to come in the future from the Clerk of Courts.

Access to the Showcase web portal was discontinued on December 17th, 2012. If you have not signed up for a CORE account yet, please visit our CORE welcome page to do so.

Will there be public access?

Yes, there is public access in CORE. Please go to the CORE Welcome page and click on the button 'I am a member of the general public' to create an account. Creating an account is free of charge to everyone, and can be completed in a few minutes. Public access was enabled during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. If you have registered an account before the CORE public access was enabled, and you have not been assigned to another access level, you have automatically been granted the public access level.

I had a Showcase account. Will I still have access under CORE?

Most users with a Showcase account which was valid when the system was decommissioned are able to register for special access using CORE. In some cases, CORE public access will serve the same needs that an individual Showcase account served in the past. Please visit the CORE welcome page for more information on access to CORE.

I already had Showcase access, do I need to register again?

Yes, you need to register a new account. The registration process has been streamlined, such that you are no longer required to appear in person to register. Also there is no registration fee, and you may submit a registration form for each attorney in your firm.

We are recommending that your registration form be received by us no later than 5:00pm EST on December 12th, 2012. Any registration received at the Clerk’s office on or before that time is guaranteed to be processed before Showcase web is decommissioned. We will make our best effort to process registrations received after this time, but to be assured of uninterrupted access, please submit your form before this time.

How do I register for a CORE account?

Please visit the CORE New User page. From there, simply select the option that best describes your needs and you will be guided on the process of creating and registering your new CORE account.

Another attorney in my firm has already registered, should I register also?

Yes. Each user of CORE must have their own account. Prior to the decommissioning of the Showcase web portal, we added the ability for attorneys to share their access with their paralegals, who have their own accounts, without having to give out their username and password.
