Set Court Date for Civil Traffic Citation

You may schedule a court date using the online system if the citation is less than (30) calendar days from the date of issuance.

Prior to scheduling a court date the following should be noted:
  • If the citation resulted in serious bodily injury or fatality the online system cannot be used to schedule a court date. You are required to schedule a court date in person.
  • If the citation is beyond (30) calendar days from issuance you cannot use the online system.
  • If requesting court dates on multiple citations, the same court date cannot be guaranteed.
  • Once a court date has been scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled or voided using the online system. You are required to write a letter to the Judge/Hearing Officer and forward to the Duval County Clerk of Courts.
  • If it is necessary for the Court to reschedule your court date and accurate contact information has not been provided failure to appear may result in the suspension of your driving privileges.
