Clerk Launches Hope Card Program

As we kick off #NationalDomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth, the Clerk's Office announces a new service available for survivors of domestic violence in our community. Beginning today, #YourDuvalClerk is authorized by Florida law to issue Hope Cards which are available to all persons issued a final order of protection in Duval County. These cards are available upon request and are completely free of charge. Hope Cards contain important information including:

• The respondent's name and date of birth
• The name and date of birth of the petitioner or protected person
• Information regarding the issuing court, the case number, the date the order of protection was issued, and the expiration date, if any, of the order of protection
• The telephone number for the statewide domestic violence hotline
• The date of issuance the expiration date of the Hope Card
